In FGPlotDataCalculator float and double data is sometimes negative and can therefore not be casted into indexes in binValues[row][col].

Find a way to translate (not only scale) the dataset to be 0 - positive and then translate back again when preparing the density points.

it can crash on many deletions

Taking the log10 of the value on a logarithmic axis does not seem to assure that only points inside the geomtric gate are counted in.

The shape of the points drawn in the scatter graph is generally stretched either linearly or logarithmically, however when testing for point-inside-ellipse the ellipse assumes points are linearly spread.

Consider moving away from NSInputStream which gives BAD_ACCESS, to read the full fill with NSData or test first if incremental reading of inputStream works, like it does with integer data types.
