4vim's Issues

Using Numbers With Chords

In vim, you can add a number pretty much anytime before an action key (eg y42y will yank 42 lines).

Using this with yank, delete, and movement is pretty handy.

pasting is bugged

observed problems:

  • After multiple pastes/undos, seems to lose it's "is_line" flag
  • P (paste before) doesn't seem to work right for non-line values

on_enter_normal_mode is called on every normal mode command

I'm not sure if this is intended or not.

Basic repro steps:

  • Add fprintf(stderr, "Entered normal mode.\n"); to your on_enter_normal_mode() function.
  • Re-compile and run the program.
  • Enter normal mode.
  • Press j, k, whatever. Every single time you press it, the message is printed to stderr.

If this is intended, maybe it should be called something other than on_enter_normal_mode.

Flesh out marks

right now m and ` modify the 4coder mark, it should have ALL the marks
