FlipperReleases

Flipper macOS application currents runs via Rosetta on Apple Silicon machines and therefore suffers from performance issues. fps is super low and there is a noticable lag while switching between plugins, etc.

Performance is great on the generated Flipper universal binary, didn't see any frame drops at all, runs super smooth. (Can be downloaded from the releases section)

This is being tracked in facebook/flipper#3553. Until Meta distributes a universal Flipper binary, this repository applies the author's commits on every latest Flipper release via a GitHub Action workflows. The generate.sh is the file executed by the workflow.

Additional patch applied:

1. Using https://www.npmjs.com/package/@electron/universal 1.3.4 as this is the latest stable release.

Note: this repository will be deleted when Meta starts distributing a universal Flipper binary.

Newer build?

If you're able to, would be a good chance to do another update - 0.239 (current one) is likely to be one of the last few available for react native and would be around for a while I think.

Build failing

Thanks for providing this repo. It's been great to be able to run Flipper natively on Apple Silicon.

I've been running the action on my own fork but it started failing with /bin/sh: tsc: command not found and I can see the last run here had the same problem.

Any idea on what it might be? I tried adding Typescript during the build but then it fails from lots of missing type declarations.

Please run the action to build new version
