💊 ⏲️ Crypto Capsule

Crypto Capsule is a free tool used for sending cryptocurrencies into the future.
It is essentially a timelock-as-a-service.
It is built using React for the Front End and Solidity for the Back End.
It is currently deployed on Ethereum, Rinkeby and Arbitrum, with more Networks on the way.
This is a community project so please feel free to reach out and help contribute.

💻 Development

• Install Node
• Then run the following commands:

# Clone the project to download its contents
> cd projects/
> git clone https://github.com/chase-manning/crypto-capsule.git

# Navigate to the client directory
> cd crypto-capsule
> cd client

# Make Node install the project's dependencies into node_modules/
> npm install

# Startup the project
> npm start

• Open http://localhost:3000/ to view the website.

Add USD Display to Capsules

The USD Value of a capsule should display on it when viewing

Can't Change Token if No Value Exists

Add Ability to Earn Interest on Maturing Assets

Integration should be added for a vault or liquidity protocol so that users can earn interest on their maturing assets.

Update Tooltips to Match Theme

The Tooltip Popups currrently have rounded corners and don't really match the current theme.
They should be changed to a more boxy design like the rest of the UI.

This should be changed to the button design.

Add External Opening Indicators to External Buttons

Some buttons open links in a new tab.
To indicate that that the button will open something in a new tab there should be an icon to the right of the text inside the button to show this.
It should look something like this:

Also, a new button component should be created called something like ExternalButton that uses the Button component but adds the icon.
Also that ExternalButton component should take a link instead of a click even and create the click event.

Change MAX to Button

MAX for token amount input is currently a text link.
This should be changed to the button design.

Change Token Search to Match UI

The Token Search is currently not matching the UI.
It has rounded borders and not the sharp edges and 3d effect.
This should be updated to match the rest of the UI.

On the sent and received page there should be a display for when there are no capsules.
It should have an interesting graphic, and a button to create a new capsule.

An option should be added for the user to open their Capsule early.
This should incur some type of disadvantage, potentially 30% of the contents of the Capsule could be used to buy Capsule Coins then burned.

Add NFT Value to USD Total

Add Months to Capsule Countdown

Months should be added to the countdown as it is hard to tell how far away something is when the days is very hight.

An image asset should be added to the landing page for the capsule

Create Capsule Coin and Distribute

A Capsule Coin Token should be created and distributed to existing and new Capsule Users.
This should be a governance token that will be used to manage the Crypto Capsule Treasury and Own Smart Contracts.

Migrate Web3 Service to Typescript

The Web 3 Service should be migrated to use Typescript.

Add Ability for Beneficiary to Change Beneficiaries

Show Balance of Tokens When Selecting

The balance of tokens should show when selecting.
Also, tokens should be ordered by highest to lowest balance.

Add Revocable and Irrevocable Capsule Options

An option should be added for revocable and irrevocable capsules.
Revocable capsules should allow the grantor the ability to withdraw, deposit and otherwise modify the capsule.
Irrevocable capsules should be immutable.
Consideration should be taken for how this aligns with trust funds and the legality there.

Move Domain to Decentralised Hosting

The domain name should be moved to a decentralised provider.
