Hello,

I am trying to use the LinearGauge extension with the angular-chart.js wrapper for Angular.js.
So far I am not really successful as I get the following error message:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'extend' of undefined Chart.LinearGauge.js:313
The line 313 reads:
Chart.Type.extend({ name: "Linear", defaults: defaultConfig, ....

I am wondering if it could be caused by LinearGauge not being designed for Chart.js version 2x.

Can we have the gauge bars have higher width ?

It'd make sense to have the chart type and scale in different files that get combined together using gulp rather than trying to put everything in a single file.

Wouldn't be useful to put an img on the README or a live demo?

Please select master branch for GitHub Pages in settings of repository to live preview example.html and add link to description. It will be https://chartjs.github.io/Chart.LinearGauge.js/example
after enabling it in settings

Chart.js allows for inverting ticks via the 'reverse' option:

ticks: {
    reverse: true
}

This option does not work with LinearGauge. Is it possible? If yes, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are there outside some CDN for this plugin?

I need to reduce that blank space between the gauge graph and the top of canvas. How i can do that?

In chartjs/Chart.js#4268 we've been talking about having the options below. Assuming this syntax is adopted, it would make sense for Chart.LinearGauge.js to utilize the same convention

ticks: {
  minor: {}, //< use common tick options
  major: {}  //< use common tick options
}

Not compatible with 2.x according to #1
