Hey, I have an extension idea in mind, I think it's very good, I feel like I need it all the time
Album arts are getting quite the production value nowadays, sometimes they look so good, but I can't see all the details even when I expand it, so my suggestion is to add a context menu option when right-clicking the album art:
and add a sub-context menu or whatchamacallit that has options like:
The banner/popups ad does not get blocked and stays for a few minutes before being blocked by the extension again

I can add and save notes for songs, but the notes column doesn't show up in playlists. I believe this is because of my theme (Comfy). I was told by another developer that "filtering themes with spicetify.config and adding exceptions" would fix the issue.

Showing the distribution of audio features of a playlist, album, etc. would be so cool. It could be as simple as writing out median and range, but it would be legendary to somehow throw in a Plotly strip chart that will tell you the value of a song when you hover over the marker. Not sure how possible this is in Spicetify to be honest since I haven't developed an extension for it yet.

Going ham on an app is obviously an alternative for displaying charts, but there is something to be said about the convenience of having these visuals in the Spotify interface.

Naturally I'm willing to contribute! Just gauging interest first in case.

Hello! When trying to use the feature-based playlist extension, I noticed that the playlist was never getting created. Looking in the console showed that when sending a get request to https://api.spotify.com/v1/search..., the request was returning with code 429. I believe this is because the playlist is getting one song over and over again.

Honestly, the recommendation algorithm in Feature Shuffle does not work well. I have tried to use this extension with 10 different playlists, and the results have not been what I expected: completely different vibe entirely, nothing even in the same genre, and preference for massively popular songs. Spotify already has the Enhance feature now which works somewhat well in a similar vein, but it's not exactly the same as what you built here, and it would be cool to improve this.

Although in principle, averaging the audio features of songs on the playlist might intuitively make sense if the playlist has very similar songs, I think the varied distribution of audio features on the playlist is critical to how people perceive their playlist, and these differences are lost in the current scheme. I think an algorithm that would have more success could randomly sample songs from the playlist, and then try to find a song for each one selected that is within a reasonable range of that particular song's audio features.
I also think the expectation of this feature is that the genres would be preserved, which definitely isn't happening currently. A look at the /search endpoint shows you can constrain song searches by genre. Combine this with the above suggestion, and I think it will possibly work as expected.
I'm not sure about how to control for popularity, partly because I think this might just be an emergent property of the algorithm currently used. The suggestions above might correct this tendency. Popularity is also not directly an audio feature, so I don't think it makes sense to include filters for this.

I love Spicetify and it's great that Spotify hasn't banned it in any way, so far.
But if you add an extension to block ads, it's going in the wrong direction.
If there's a big reason for them to block Spicetify, it's because of this.
Please remove this feature, please respect Spotify's business model and please don't put other Spicetify users in danger by keeping this extension online, thank you.
The ad blocker has suddenly stopped working. I've tried reinstalling the extension already with no success

I assume this is such an obvious idea that if it were possible, it would've been suggested/added already, but in case it is an oversight.
I'd personally love to be able to set hotkeys, preferably my media keys, to interact with Spotify. It's one of my main annoyances with the app, but the web app's audio quality is horrendous and having my browser open swallows a bunch of resources anyway.
Not just to be able to play, skip and go back, having a keybind for "like" would be godly.

when i add a note to a song the only way to view the note is by right clicking and clicking add note. it doesn't show up next to the song

I highly doubt I'm the only one tired of an algorithm deciding what half of my playlists/liked songs, that will practically never be heard, just because Spotify deemed that true random didn't "feel" random enough.
A button next to the big play button on most playlists, would probably be preferable. One that can also just make a new shuffle list for you. But a dropdown menu somewhere, where you set TrueRandom shuffle, or a right-click on the playlist kinda thing - although that might be a problem for "liked songs", since you can't natively right-click on it.

While running the commnd in windows powershell x86 the extension for adblock.js was not found wherein i copied and pasted the files as said in the marketplace.

Not a problem per se, but it's easy to forget exactly what a specific audio feature means, and I have to go back to the Spotify API to confirm what their descriptions say.

It might be nice to include a tooltip on hover (over the word or maybe a standard question mark in a circle) that has a description for each.
Relatedly, converting the Key from an integer to standard notation (C#, Bb, etc.) would make this more intelligible.
