HexWatershed produces the world's first flow direction map for the Antarctic using the MPAS mesh.

I am an Earth Scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL).

My research mainly focuses on high-resolution Earth system modeling at both regional and global scales.

Extend basin outlet flowline to the ocean

By default, when provided with a buffered boundary, the mesh will be larger than the clipped flowline.
This will cause the model cannot find the correct outlet.

To fix this, simply extend the last flowline outside the mesh.
