How can I provide a reaction of the type R -> 2R? If I write it like:

System.reaction(1).educt = [R];
System.reaction(1).product = [2*R];
System.reaction(1).propensity = k;

It does not return an error, but the solution is not what is to be expected.

I looked at the paper and this toolbox looks amazing. I am using Matlab 2011b on mac os 10.6. Apparently some of the function are not existing for me (isequaln for example) and the Mupadex has some difficulties with the symbolic indexing...

Which version of Matlab do you use on Mac? Do you, maybe, happen to know which compiler for Matlab works on Windows and which version of Matlab should I use?
