@AndrewSallans Do we have text written for this?

No text yet, and not urgent. I will work on the text soon, but wanted to add this to the queue as a placeholder.

@erinspace, how quickly can we have this page online? I seemed like it was ready to go last time we looked.

Just submitted pull request #130 that includes the sponsors page and logos, but it's not yet linked from the main site!

So where do we link this in? I think there are a few places where it will come up naturally:

Our work: http://centerforopenscience.org/about_work/
Jobs: http://centerforopenscience.org/jobs/
Probably should go in the footer via a link

Thoughts?

I wouldn't put it in the footer; I'd put it in the header under "About Us."
The other two are good—it should arise in the content.

I agree.

OK, so to confirm, add to these locations:

Our work: http://centerforopenscience.org/about_work/
Jobs: http://centerforopenscience.org/jobs/
Top navigation menu as "Our Sponsors": http://centerforopenscience.org/about_sponsor/

Prior to linking in, we should hyperlink all the logos on the page, right? At the least, we need to do that with the "want to donate" ones, otherwise there is no easy way to find those.

I think the suggestion is to put it as the third item in the submenu in the
"About Us" navigation menu - not as another top level menu item.

I don't know if it also needs to be on those pages, but if there is natural
places that are or would mention sponsors anyway, then may as well have a
link to the page.

Ah yes, I poorly communicated, but meant what you described. I think that's the top priority, and the others are secondary.

The linking of logos needs to happen.

To be clear, this page will need to be sent to a few folks before publicly linked.
