france-covid-19's Issues

Documentation : data sources

Great project ! I was looking for a clean dataset for france with cases per region and found your repo.
What is the source of the data ? Would be interesting to add a readme with the sources.
thanks

Wrong numbers in the 'Death' column of the 'Confirmd cases by region' table

Hello @cedricguadalupe, thanks for your work on this!

I think there's an error in the numbers displayed in the Confirmed Cases by Region table in your metabase dashboard.

The total of death seems to be working, however the death column in that table seems wrong. (I mean it would be great if it was the real numbers, but I don't think it is).

Do you have the dashboard defined as code so we can send you a pull request? (If you do it manually that's fine too of course.)

Thanks again and have stay safe

Some issues on your map

Hi @cedricguadalupe,

Thanks a lot for your dashboard. It is very helpful and visual!

Where did you find all those data? I visited website https://www.santepubliquefrance.fr but I only found 4 PDF file for march 4, 5, 6 and 7. Do you have a link to the complete dataset? Or do you collect manually the data on the website every-days?

Here are some "improvements" you can make on your map:

Change labels in popups (map & diagram)

  • Replace "Region_Code" by "Region"
  • Replace "Max de Confirmed" by "Confirmed"
  • Replace "Max de Death" by "Death"

Inconsistencies in the data

First:
The data for 27/03/2020 seems to be duplicated from 26/03/2020 for the confirmed dataset.

Second:
I've noticed that the sum of all data of the regions does not match with the total cases column.
For example if you take the data for 26/03/2020
Confirmed: Total Column = 32964 ; Sum of Regions = 25903
Recovered: Total Column = 4948 ; Sum of Regions = 4967
Deaths: Total Column = 1696 ; Sum of Regions = 1704
I have checked all the dates and the issue appears in all three datasets on multiple dates. Can you explain why this is?

time_series_confirmed

bonsoir,
il manque les informations de cas confirmés sur le csv time_series pour ces derniers jours

merci,
devbab
