Install Instructions

Install requires Neovim 0.10+ (due to the neorg plugin). Always review the code before installing a configuration.

Clone the repository and install the plugins:

git clone [email protected]:Cathyprime/nvim-dots ~/.config/Cathyprime/nvim-dots
NVIM_APPNAME=Cathyprime/nvim-dots/ nvim

Open Neovim with this config:

consider adding nvim-lightbulb to the configuration

Restructre files

restructure files to make use of vim's runtimepath directories like plugin/ and after/plugin/
try to manage lazy loading myself (autocommands), mostly just tree sitter setup to lazy load if needed on events

move to pckr

migrate over to pckr in order to have properly setup directory

Trim features from existing lazyvim configuration

instead of making everything from scratch (or rather copying from lazyvim repo and just changing names) it will be much easier to just remove unwanted features

in the meanwhile making a true migration away from lazyvim by not even copying the code

Migrate from LazyVim

move away from lazyvim for the purpose of learning how it works
