osac's Issues

aaxc format

OSAC doesn't processes aaxc format files.

seriously ??

Seriously ?? dude how could you ban me from the Discord.js discord server for simply calling you a "bozo" like that should be funny not something you take offensively and ban me for without warning. not cool please rethink. my discord tag is Febzey#1854

Enhanced High Quality Audio Format

As of 30th June, Audible are dropping Format 4 for a new audio format.

Opening up an issue because it likely means that this will mean OSAC no longer works with the files anymore and work will be needed to be done to make it compatible.

Filename issue

First of all I want to say thank you for this useful tool.

I am having a slight issue regarding file names. So I installed the Audible App from the Windows 10 Store and downloaded an audio book. The resulting filename of the specific audio book was
Heimatabend Deluxe. _B004V2PZQW_LC_64_44100_Stereo.aax
I could select the file just fine in OSAC and it seems the DRM cracking also worked. But no output file was generated and there was a console error
D:\Audible\Heimatabend: No such file or directory.
I think the issue is either the dot in addition to the file extension or the whitespaces.

Renaming the file to 'heimatabend.aax' fixed the issue for me, so this is not a big deal, but it still would be nice if all filenames were properly supported.

Multiple files in one go

This is a great thing.. I'm just wondering is it possible to expand the project to allow for selecting multiple .aax files and converting as a batch?

that would make life much easier... don't you think?

kind regards,

Worked perfect, thanks!

I had to rename the source AAX to not have any spaces in it, but after I figured that bug it converted it 100%

Crashing

If you have path & file name with the " " space program will crash.

No audiobook is in the extraced folder

Osac appears to work fine, locating the aax file and processing it but there is never anything in the extracted folder afterwards.
Am I doing it wrong?

Support for chapters

Hey it would be nice, if the tool could analyse the chapters and if one could choose that it converts one own audio file (e.g. mp3) for each chapter

[Feature request] Add support for splitting into separate MP3 chapters

Would be nice to have an option to split the converted audiobook into separate files based on chapters in the audible file. This makes uploading to services such as Google Play Music a nicer experience as its a number of smaller files and its easier to jump between chapters in a standard music player rather than specific audiobook software.
