Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. People all around the world are eager to get up-to-date and accurate information as quickly as possible about this epidemic.

This python script will help you to get up-to-date and accurate statistics about confirmed cases, deaths, recovered and many more about this outbreak just from your command line.

This program uses endpoints of NovelCOVID API as the data source and IP Location Finder by KeyCDN to find your geolocation.

• Get all total cases, recovery, and deaths.
• Get data of all countries that has COVID-19.
• Get data of each country sorted by keys.
• Get data of a specific country.
• Automatically identifies your country and retrieve stats related to your country.

Git Installation

# clone the repo
$ git clone https://github.com/sameera-madushan/COVID-19-STATS.git

# change the working directory to COVID-19-STATS
$ cd COVID-19-STATS

# install the requirements
$ pip3 install -r requirements.txt

python stats.py
