⚠ Important Info

• Please follow your operating systems guide to setup your environment for Tauri development here
• You will need @capacitor/core version >= 3.2.0.

⏳ Quickstart (Functioning on: ✅ Windows, ✅ MacOS, ⬜ Linux)

0. Create or open a Capacitor initialized web app project. CAPACITOR DOCS
1. Build your web app (npm run build for example)
2. npm i @capacitor-community/tauri@alpha
3. npx cap add @capacitor-community/tauri
4. npx cap open @capacitor-community/tauri - This can take several minutes the first time you run it.
5. You now have your web app running in tauri, right click and select inspect to bring up dev tools.

tauri's Issues

V1 of Tauri

Migrate to Tauri version 1.0.

This allows to go to a stable version of Tauri and also to add the features related with the issue #2.

Version 1 was released on 2022/06/19 => Tauri v1.0

Abandoned?

Should this be used or is it considered and abandoned project?

Please bring this project to stable version

I was so happy when I found this project and then dissapointed when I realized that it is stopped...
Please consider finishing this.

Linux support

Thanks a lot for creating this platform. It will be exciting to use tauri and capacitor together. 👍

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
As marked in the README, linux is not yet supported. It would be nice to also support it.

Describe the solution you'd like
From what I could see, the only thing missing is the open command.
A proposed solution: #1
(I just tried using the same command as with macOS and it worked).

Is there anything else that is missing?

Additional context
I have tested it in WSL2.
