I'd like to sometime port this to Guile. However, I first have some questions about the license.

According to toml.meta, the license is BSD. However, there are multiple variants of the BSD - the original 4-clause BSD, the 3-clause BSD, even some 2-clause BSD (see https://directory.fsf.org/wiki/License:BSD_3Clause). Which one is it?

Also, the BSD requires keeping a copy of the BSD notice in distributions of the source code (clause 1), which seems to be missing here?
