Simple Game Engine!

Description

Jiggle is currently very early in development and the scope of the project is subject to change. Please feel free to contribute to Jiggle or any of it's related modules (Numberful, & SpringBox). If you have any questions about contributing contact the author of this repository at "[email protected]".

Getting Started

• For helpful examples of how to use Jiggle, and boilerplate code to get you going take a look at the examples folder.

Dependencies

• Python >= 3.10
• PyOpenGL >= 3.1.7
• GLFW for Python >= 2.7.0
• PyImGUI >= 2.0.0
• Numberful
• SpringBox

Installing (Windows Only!)

• To install the Numberful module you'll have to download the project and package it first.
• To package the project download the source files, open a terminal and navigate to the Jiggle/module directory of the project.
• Type the command python setup.py sdist into the termianl (this will package the project as a local module).
• Finally to install the newly packaged module, while in the same directory as before, enter the command pip install . into the terminal (this will install the packaged module).
• Check for install: To see if you were successful type pip list and search for Jiggle X.X.X in the list of results. If you see it you've successfully installed the Jiggle module!
• Note: You will also need to install Numberful & SpringBox modules!
