How to install:

TROUPS_HOME: directory that contains troups source code (contains pom.xml)
HBASE_HOME: directory that contains HBase binaries

0. Prereq: install and configure HBase 0.92 in pseudo distributed mode

1. build troups jar
  cd ${TROUPS_HOME}
  mvn install

2. copy jar to HBase installation
  cp target/troups-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar ${HBASE_HOME}/lib/

3. build troups test jar
  mvn jar:test-jar

4. copy test jar to HBase installation
  cp target/troups-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT-tests.jar ${HBASE_HOME}/lib/

5. start HDFS
  cd ${HADOOP_HOME}
  bin/start-dfs.sh

6. start HBase
  cd ${HBASE_HOME}
  bin/start-hbase.sh

7. run test case
  bin/hbase edu.illinois.troups.itest.SingleTableTest
  (last printed line should be: 'succeeded')
