fb-control breaks on newsfeed redesign

fb-control does not remove the newsfeed after switching to the new newsfeed.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Join the new newsfeed preview
  2. Refresh page, newsfeed is now visible

Suggested fixes

  1. Parse convoluted HTML and determine the cryptic name that facebook uses for the div encapsulating the newsfeed
  2. Remove entire page to ensure full distraction coverage. Suggested design is below.
