Photocyl

Simple image editing program.

A small program for image processing implemented in Java 8. Contains basic features such as crop, resize, rotate, draw on the image, etc. Also includes 20+ instagram-like filters. Originally built as the final project of a "Object Oriented Programming" class.

Installing / Getting started

To run, Oracle's java 8 is required. With that, it's as simple as:

java photocyl.jar -jar

The programs graphical interface will open up and the image editing fun can start!

To partake in the project, just clone and make something awesome with the source code

Features

Currently, the program has the following features:

• Basic image editing such as crop, resize, rotate, color selection, etc.
• A lot of cool filters, especially for posting pictures to social media.
• The possibility to draw on the image.

Contributing

If you'd like to contribute, please fork the repository and use a feature branch. Pull requests are warmly welcome.

Please follow general Java coding practices, along with the creation of the javadoc as needed.
