paginate results of items because redrawing the list gets pretty slow after ~20 or so items

should use right/left arrow keys to switch between pages?

add ability to tab items in to attach them to a parent item. child items should be implicitly completed when the parent item is completed, and possibly hidden if the parent item is completed

eg:

[ ] parent item
    [ ] child item
    [ ] child item 2

add ability to import items from other sources, eg, github issues.

[I] is currently bound to a hidden "dump json" feature though. maybe change that to [J]

add keybind for sorting items by name, date added, date due, or date occurring. simple toggle between the sort modes seems good enough

add ability to mark items as due by a specific date and highlight them if that date has passed and the item remains incomplete
eg:

[ ] start my own mcdonalds chain (added 4d ago) (due in 30d - 4/20/2022)

add the ability to create an item that "occurs" during a specific date or time span. mark the item if it is currently happening or will happen soon.
eg:

[ ] punch dentist in the face (added 10d ago) (occurs in 2d)
[ ] get lost in woods (added 13d ago) (happening now)
