User Story

AS AN enthusiastic reader I WANT to search for new books to read SO THAT I can connect with new and previous readers to discuss the book

Description

Enter the book universe with Bookspace. An application designed for the enthusiastic book readers, and those who might just be starting. Simply sign up, or login, and enter the galaxy. The options are endless, and you never know what book you might come across!

Technologies

The technologies used are the following:

• React- This is a react based application. And within react, we used useState and react-router-dom frequently
• GraphQL- On the server side, GraphQL was used when testing mutations and queries to then be sent to the front end.
• UI-Kit- UI Kit was the framework selected for all styling compoonets
• MongoDB
• Node.Js

Install

To install this application on your device, simply git clone this repository, or you can fork it. Open the project through your VS Code or terminal. Next run npm i. This will install all the needed packages. From there, you can then run npm run develop to see it locally on your device. Or you can view the Deployed site section of this repository and simply bookmark that page, and save it that way.

Usage

To use this application, first simply sign up or login. From there, you have access to the book universe. Search for books you would like to read. As a logged in user, you can also add a review to a book. Once you read that book, you can return to that page, and simply remove the book from your page by clicking the remove book button.
