I've gotten the first one of these working for notifying GitHub via the status API, but it's not yet general purpose enough. So I'll keep working on it.

We now have a pattern for sending notifications.

First, notifiers are jobs:

var slack = new Job("slack-notify", "technosophos/slack-notifier:latest")
// Configure slack...
slack.run()

Second, we added an after event that will run after any target, so you can now set global notifications any time any hook fires. (And since the after hook knows what event triggered it, you can do conditional logic if you want.)

events.on("after", (e, p) => {
  // create your jobs here.
})
