The chat seems so connect to the room multiple times when left alone. This results in the user's message being amplified multiple times. This also results in a memory leak according to the warnings. Still need more details of the behavior.

Possible reasons:

• Heroku server sleeps after 30mins of inactivity
• Web socket behavior with socket.io

Ex. username & room & message shouldn't be able to be ''

Input get cut off as you type, and receive a message, but you can still press enter have send your cut off message

Ex. I was typing ha.. and received a message which cut me off and could not see the continuation of my word

After an input is entered it is still left in the line:

>

Bug occurs when typing a message and receiving one.
This only happens sometimes, I haven't looked into the exact case where it shows up yet.
