Install the Polymer-CLI

First, make sure you have the Polymer CLI installed. Then run polymer serve to serve your element locally.

Viewing Your Element

$ polymer serve

Running Tests

$ polymer test

Your application is already set up to be tested via web-component-tester. Run polymer test to run your application's test suite locally.

Provide baobab tree using dependency injection

using pattern described in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6o5zaKHedTE

we can then improve how we bind the element so that the mixin does not have a hard-coded reference to the tree like it does currently.

Batch property changes

We are currently looping through the list of properties and updating. This causes multiple observer events to be triggered.

    for (let [key, path] of Object.entries(bindings)) {
      element.set(key, tree.get(path));
    }

Instead we should update our code to use setProperties and batch all changes
