Hi. Not much of a developer. But I was looking at this project and your source maps, and found this. Thought you might want to know.

This library appears like it has not seen maintenance in a while, so It would be nice to add a note to the README pointing people to another library for doing this. The https://github.com/evansiroky/timezone-boundary-builder repo, which maintains up-to-date shapefiles seems to suggest a few options. https://github.com/ugjka/go-tz looks pretty reasonable to me.

Hello. When using 35.2269, 80.8433, which is in the eastern U.S., I'm getting "Asia/Kashgar."

I wrote a webservice using this library but I can't find any license information. Please advise what license you would like to use this for code base. Here is my code,

There's a patch of Denmark that resolves into Asia/Phnom_Penh timezone, which is quite unusual. I would have addressed the problem myself, but, admittedly, I have been playing with the language only for a short while, and wouldn't even know where to start.

Example coords: 55.850667, 12.56804

Most likely this is not latlong bug, but anyway…

I'm trying to vendor latlong dependencies with Godeps. But when I run

$ godep save

I get the following error message:

godep: Godeps/_workspace/src/github.com/bradfitz/latlong/z_gen_tables.go:23:18: expected '}', found 'EOF'
