Generate SVG icons from a Fontello icon set.

Hey im getting the following error when trying to pull the down-open-big.svg from the fontelico set. I've tried other icons from the same set and try download fine as well as other icons from other sets.
in custom icon, fontello's config.js file contains codes like
"src": "custom_icons",
"svg": {
"path": "M0 860L1000 860 1000 915 0 915 0 860ZM0 468L1000 468 1000 523 0 523 0 468ZM0 85L1000 85 1000 140 0 140 0 85Z",
"width": 1000
},
i want to export svg from this information.
this feature will make fontello-svg better.
Hi!
Thank you for the awesome tool! It does its job fine and save my time. You're awesome!
I decided to include fontello-svg into my deployment routine. I ended up using a grunt-shell
task with these options:
shell: { // Task
generateFontelloIcons: { // Target
options: { // Options
stdout: true,
stderr: true
},
command: "node_modules/.bin/fontello-svg -c fontello.json -o 'source/assets/images/icons' -f 'black:#000 | grey-dusty:#999 | grey-emperor:#555 | grey-mineshaft:#333 | white:#fff | red-guardsman:#b00'"
}
}
This work, but this is not a graceful way of using a Node.js package in Grunt.
I thought that i would just peek into the bin file bin/fontello-svg
and create a simple custom Grunt task based on the bin file, but i discovered that the bin file contains 100 lines of code, and my total lack of Node.js knowledge prevents me from making a Grunt task out of it.
I humbly request that you consider refactoring fontello-svg and publishing a Grunt task that allows leveraging fontello-svg with a graceful Grunt config. Could be something like this:
module.exports = function(grunt) {
grunt.initConfig({
fontello-svg: {
config: 'fontello.json',
output_dif: 'source/assets/images/icons',
create_css: false,
fill_colors: {
black: '#000',
grey-dusty: '#999',
grey-emperor: '#555',
grey-mineshaft: '#333',
white: '#fff',
red-guardsman: '#b00'
}
}
});
}
I don't use the CSS file that fontello-svg provides.
It would be nice if i could tell fontello-svg not to create it.
During svg generation I got error:
[error] download failed: https://raw.github.com/fontello/awesome-uni.font/master/src/svg/filter.svg
looks like github use other direct link:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/fontello/awesome-uni.font/master/src/svg/filter.svg
raw.githubusercontent insteadof raw.github
In browser github will redirect you automatically, however in my environment it wasn`t happen.
node: v4.2.2
npm: v.4.6.1
Thank You
11 out of my 25 SVGs generated by fontello-svg have the string Not Found
instead of the actual content. Verbose mode didn't help either.
Any clue how to get around this?
