I also realized a couple days ago that Docker for Mac doesn't support the docker0 bridge, meaning this tool is having a hard time getting the IP address it should be returning for the http://169.254.169.254/latest/meta-data/local-ipv4 response right now.

To fix that in the short term, I plan to look for an environment variable to force the IP address to a specific value, and then set the environment variable when creating the Docker container in which the app runs.

This does not seem to work on my mac. Are there any tricks?
