Lanceors Mod Request Collection

This is a collection of small mods that I created in response to posts in the Oblivion Mod Requests forum.

Do not post requests here. I check the Oblivion Mod Requests forum regularly and will sometimes fill a request if it is quick and simple. Unfortunately, I probably will not have the time to fill large or complex requests.

  1. Hrormirs Icestaff Re-enchanted

Original request. Modifies the enchantment on Hrormirs's Icestaff to something a little more powerful and useful. The new enchantment is as follows:

Frost Damage 50 pts on Target
Weakness to Frost 100% for 6 sec on Target
Light 30 ft for 30 sec on Target
Charges per use: 197
Total Charges: 10000

Incompatibility: Other mods that modify Hrormirs Icestaff.

  1. Blackrobed Birthsigns

Original request. This mod rebalances six of the vanilla birthsigns.

Apprentice: unchanged
Atronach: unchanged
Lady: unchanged
Lord: increase Blood of the North spell's duration from 15 to 20 seconds (leaving the spell's cost unchanged)
Lover: permanent +10 Personality. Lover's Kiss Greater Power unchanged.
Mage: unchanged
Ritual: unchanged
Serpent: permanent +10 Speed. Serpent Spell Greater Power has additional effect: Paralyze for 2 seconds on Touch.
Shadow: permanent +10 Agility. Moonshadow Greater Power, in addition to Invisibility for 60 seconds also gives +30 Sneak for 60 seconds (giving it additional utility of helping with picking pockets)
Steed: unchanged
Thief: remove permanent +10 Luck bonus (making this sign only add +10 Speed and +10 Agility, for total of +20 extra attribute points like other attribute signs).
Tower: change Tower Key from Greater Power to Lesser Power, with 24 Magicka cost (1/3 of Open Average Lock spell). Tower Warden Greater Power unchanged.
Warrior: unchanged

Incompatibility: Other mods that modify the same birthsigns.

  1. Thieves Guild Armour

Original request. Upon joining the Thieves Guild, or upon installation of the mod if you are already a member, a specialised set of Thieves Guild Armour will be added to your inventory. It has the appearance and weight of leather armour, but protects as well as chainmail. It is enchanted as follows:

Boots - Fortify Sneak, 10pts
Bracer - Fortify Security, 10 pts
Helmet - Fortify Speechcraft, 10 pts
Greaves - Feather, 105 pts
Helmet - Fortify Mercantile, 10 pts

Incompatibility: None expected.

  1. No Blinding FLames

Original request. Removes the flames that obscure your vision when you are on fire, replacing it with a fiery glow. All actors and creatures are affected.

Incompatibility: Other mods that modify the fire damage shader.

Installation (all files)

  1. Extract the 7-Zip file to a temporary location.
  2. Copy the .esp file to (install folder)\Oblivion\Data\
  3. Start Oblivion Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark besides the .esp file.

Licensing/Legal

Do anything at all you want with these files as long as you're not making money from them. No credit or permission needed. Happy modding!

Emporium.esp

Adds special ability Acrobatics Mastery upon reaching a skill level of 100 in acrobatics. The ability prevents the player from taking any fall damage.Fixes the bug in the Wizard's Tower official DLC which causes the Mystic Emporium to be locked all the time.

Part of The Mad Box "-True Prince-
This is a simple little mod that makes a few changes to the conclusion of the Shivering Isles main quest.
Once you take Sheogorath's place, you'll get a few extra perks.
First, your normal Summon Golden Saint/Dark Seducer spells will be replaced with Lesser Power versions that, conveniently enough, already existed in the game, allowing you to summon your elite guards to you as many times as you need. After all, you are the Madgod, aren't you?
It also changes the Manipulate Weather spell to be a Lesser Power, so that you can do it as many times as you wish. Once again, Madgod.
Finally, it changes the Sheogorath's Protection spell into a passive ability, but one that still only works in the Shivering Isles, making you effectively immortal within your realm. Overpowered, you say? Shut up, MadGOD.

There are also two versions of this mod, one which will change your name to Sheogorath after listening to Jyggalag's speech at the end of the main quest, and one that will not. Activate whichever file suits you better.

Like I said, I may add more mods and features as I think of them, but like the Madgod himself, this mod is entirely subject to my whim. Though, feel free to make suggestions if you think of anything neat."

Add version check to OOO plugin messages

OOO v1.35 dispenses with the Lite/Full split, instead there is a base plugin and several addon plugins. Some of the addon plugins are carried over from earlier versions of OOO, where they were addons to the Lite version, and so are producing "don't use" messages in BOSS.

Version checks should be added to correct this.
