Integration of Jooq SQL builder with Bootique. See usage example bootique-jooq-demo.

Usage

Include bootique-jooq:

Do whatever Jooq class generation is required (for now outside of bootique-jooq scope).

Create configuration with DB connection information and optional Jooq settings:

      url: "jdbc:postgresql://192.168.99.100:5432/scheduling"
      initialSize: 1
      username: postgres
      password: postgres

jooq:
  dialect: POSTGRES
  executeLogging: true

Inject JooqFactory and start using Jooq:

bootique-jooq's Issues

Upgrade Jooq to 3.10.6

Upgrade Jooq to 3.10.6. While we are at it, switch the unit tests to MySQL/testcontainers and Jooq code generation to Maven

Upgrade to io.bootique.Bootique

While bootique-jooq was under io.bootique namespace from day 1, its upstream dependencies just got moved to io.bootique .. Need to update.

Upgrade to Jooq 3.16.x

3.16.x is the latest line of Jooq that has a Java 11 baseline dependency (3.17 is already Java 17). So let's upgrade to 3.16

Guess Jooq dialect based on connection info

Make jooq.dialect optional. We can reliably guess it in many cases.
