Note

Beginning September 1st, 2021, there will be no more DNS checks. A small VPS was used for this, but it has now become too expensive.

List of domains with adult content

This list compiles a variety of domains related to adult content, primarily focusing on pornographic websites. Instead of creating another list from scratch, it aggregates the excellent work done by others into a comprehensive compilation.

The repository has undergone extensive validation of domains with careful DNS checks to minimize the potential for false results. Blacklist sources	`blacklist/bl-sources.txt`	Contains a list of website links to domains associated with adult websites.
	`blacklist/bl-sources.csv`	User-friendly reference for `bl-sources.txt`, detailing each repository with the timestamp of the last update. Ordered by recent activity.
	`blacklist/bl-custom.txt`	Custom blacklist of domains not listed in the sources but included in the block list.
	`blacklist/external_format`	Directory of dedicated blacklist files for structuring external data or domains in a specific format for background processes.
	`block.txt`	Compilation of all domains aggregated from various blacklist sources, with syntax verification and duplicates eliminated. Specific domains, such as those from whitelists, are omitted.
Whitelist sources	`whitelist/wl-sources.txt`	Contains a list of website links to domains to be kept off the block list to avoid mistakenly blocking legitimate websites.
	`whitelist/wl-sources.csv`	User-friendly reference for `wl-sources.txt`, detailing each repository with the timestamp of the last update. Ordered by recent activity.
	`whitelist/wl-custom.txt`	Custom whitelist of domains to be excluded from the block list.
	`whitelist/external_format`	Directory of specialized whitelist files for organizing external data or domains into a specific structure for background processes.
	`pass.txt`	Consolidates all whitelisted domains into a single file, with each domain undergoing syntax checking for uniform verification.

Add new sources

Some of them are already included the sources that are in place now. But that's not a problem. We remove duplicates anyway. It's just to catch them if they add their own lines.

domains no longer containing porn

i'm looking for something to implement into my app, so i quickly verified random domains, and choosing atrandom around 50% of domains are no longer porn

it's nice you verify the dns, but maybe some dumb webpage content analysis would be nice as well?

catching non-200 responses and domains for sale should be quite easy and should help drastically reduce the list (which is good for performance when the list is actually used)

Whitelist openuserjs.org

Hi! openuserjs.org is listed on the hosts file but it's not a porn site. It's an alternative to Greasy Fork

Google is in the block list

google.com and googlevideo.com are in the list

Exclude "Top 500 Websites" by Moz.com

Blocking websites/domains based on patterns

Identify websites with adult content with following domain extensions / tlds / suffixes:

Will be blocked:

.adult
.porn
.sex
.xxx

Not sure yet:

.gay (Can be used for LGBTQ-content)
.sexy
.sucks

Will mainly be used in internal workflow to remove domains from lists with popular websites. The result will then be used as whitelist.
