Photonscribe

This is intended to be an open source competitor to the excellent Pixelstick and Magilight tools. The goal is to provide an example code platform for arduino based light painting tools.

Currently this project is in the exploratory phase, if you're interested in collaborating please reach out!

Create V2 circuit

The current design is a fun prototype, it should be updated with support for a IC2 LED display and a SD card reader. The current design has the following flaws:

  • Using the light strip for displaying state is a bit choppy in the field, having a LED display would be helpful (ideally only lit when a button is pressed)
  • Images should be kept/displayed on an SD card. The current design stores them in program memory. This is a fun coding challenge but it turned out the space is very limiting and it's annoying to set up the image .h files.
