Improvements for documentation

There are some improvements needed in the documentation (https://twiki.grid.iu.edu/bin/view/Documentation/Release3/CvmfsReplica):

• It should cover an end-to-end example of replicating a repo, as in the existing CVMFS Stratum-1 documentation.
• Should refer to OSG yum repos, not direct RPM download.
• Should have examples of systemd-based services.
• What needs to be done to add Stratum-1s with public keys like OASIS?

Basically, I'd like to be able to follow the directions and end up with a Stratum-1 for OASIS.

Clone all repositories

Hi,

For current versions, CVMFS Stratum-1 servers will advertise the currently available repositories. For example:

http://cvmfs.fnal.gov/cvmfs/info/v1/repositories.json

Can we extend the daemon so I can simply point my replica server at the above URL, and automatically setup all the same repos?

Missing RPM dependencies

The cvmfsreplica RPM does not pull in cvmfs-server as a dependency. It should add that, along with anything else mentioned on https://twiki.grid.iu.edu/bin/view/Documentation/Release3/InstallCvmfsStratum1

systemd integration

Locally, new services are all based on RHEL7 platform. Since cvmfsreplica is forward-looking, we should focus on tightly integrating in that platform:

• Include service unit files for systemd.
• Do not daemonize.
• Push logging through either stderr/out or through syslog (to be picked up by journald). No logrotate on this platform.
