anki-misc-addons's Issues

Disable prompt when not in main menu

Neat little add-on, i often forget to specify a deck when adding a new card.

I have a specific request: would it be possible to add a feature that disables the prompt when adding a card whilst not in the main 'menu' so to speak? When adding a new card after having selected a specific deck, the card is by default placed in said deck and so the prompt loses its utility.

does not work

hi there
i'd like to ask for your help
this add-n doesn't work for me on 2.1.52 and neither on 2.1.49

please give me a hand if you can.

custom keybinding stops being recognized

Thanks for your addon.

I've noticed that under some circumstances the addon stops recognizing (custom) hotkeys. Closing the Add screen and re-opening fixes things. During this time, Anki itself seems unaffected (eg built-in hotkeys such as Ctrl+. and Ctrl+enter continue working fine)

I can't say for sure it's 100%, but this sequence seems to reproduce the behavior.

  1. start with a few common assumptions:
    • I have several note types, standard Basic plus some custom, call it Custom1
    • hotkeys setup through the addon, ctrl+shift+1-->Basic, ctrl+shift+2-->Custom1
    • many notes of both types; (although I can't say for sure whether the decks I notice the below on contain both types)
  2. open add window
  3. verify ctrl+shift+[1,2] hotkeys (they work)
  4. change to a different deck
  5. verify ctrl+shift+[1,2] hotkeys (broken - Type does not change)
  6. verify standard hotkeys (they work)
  7. manually change type field in add window to some other note type
  8. verify ctrl+shift+[1,2] hotkeys (now working again)

Are there specific logs I could gather for you when this happens?

My system is Ubuntu20.04.
