WorkItem Updater not changing the state in VSTS about workitemupdater

Kanban boards are not mandatory. If you run a build with debug enabled (set "system.debug" variable in build definition to true) you should see enough logging from the WorkItemUpdater extension to determine why there's nothing being updated.
If you want, you can post the debug logging in this issue and I'll have a look.

I am also unable to transit work item to desired state when using workitem updater plugin
