pebble-mastodon-theme's Issues

Issue - Selecting An Emoji Response To An Announcement Message

The picker to select any emoji response for an announcement message from the full selection of emojis is invisble (affects all theme versions) - to reproduce roll mouse over on the right of all other emojis users have responded with to the announcement message (the missing menu entry is a "+" on a non themed instance)

Query - Icon theming in Bookmarks and Favourites

When a user has navigated to Bookmarks or Favourities from the main menu should the icons be themed/coloured purple like Home, Notifications, Explore, Live Feeds, Private Mentions and Lists?

Issue - Profile Theming Buttons and Links

User Profile theming issues

"Notify me when user posts" and "Menu" buttons are not clear as to their purpose

Date joined and each following end user added profile links could do with line breaks after them

WebKit Scroll/TitleBar is Always Dark

Describe the bug
Scroll and Title bars do not follow color theme on WebKit.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. pebble.social on Safari
  2. Share
  3. Add to Dock
  4. Login
  5. Set color theme Mastodon (Light) from in-app settings

Expected behavior
This must follow the theme selected from preferences within the app. Mastodon (Dark) is doing well but not Mastodon (Light).

Browser:

  • Safari 17.5

Issue - Missing Search Magnifying Glass

On making the browser window width smaller the explore/search box is reduced to a smaller sized icon and the magnifying glass (which is seen on a non themed instance) is missing

EDIT - Please discard issue as not seen on 1.0.7 (was seen on pebble.social still running 1.0.6)

Issue - Black Theme - Grey text displayed rather than white

With the black theme activated some text is shown as grey rather than white which is hard to read. Examples as follows:

Raised on Pebble.social running 1.0.2

Example 1
Seen in notifications - All tab where a user favourites a status

Notifications Tab

Example 2
Seen in the private mentions tab for the message text received in a message

Private Conversations

Issue - High Contract Theme - Remaining Post Characters

With the high contrast theme selected the number of remaining characters for the post cannot be easily seen in the bottom right corner of the box due to the dark text on dark background (note not seen on Dark or Light Theme)

Issue - Today's Trends Customisation

Running 1.0.5 when today's trends are activated on an instance some theming issues are seen

EDIT - Can no longer reproduce, suggest discard issue!

Invisible arrows on announcements

When there are more than one announcement, previous and next arrows at both sides of number of announcement are invisible, both light and dark theme

Arrows should appear at both sides of "1/2", bottom right. When hovering, color changes but no arrow or indicator either.

Feature Request - Customise the "Publish!" button to "Post"

Believe the "Publish!" button could be customised to say the Pebble default of "Post" using the following code (is this something that could be included)?

Note: the code below works on an instance using the default Mastdon themes:

.compose-form__publish-button-wrapper button {
text-indent: -9999px;
line-height: 0; /* Collapse the original line */
}

.compose-form__publish-button-wrapper button:after {
content:'Post';
text-indent: 0;
display: block;
line-height: initial; /* New content takes up original line height */
}

Query - Followed Hashtags

A query as to whether followed hashtags like #t2pub in the screenshor below be themed/coloured white

Issue - The "notify me" and "menu" buttons on profiles do not show an icon (& other oddities)

This may be intentional, but I wanted to submit it just in case:

When visiting someone's profile, the "notify me when this user posts" and "menu" icons to the right of the follow button are blank:

Screenshot 2023-11-04 181705

When either is clicked, icons do appear:

Lastly, when the notifications icon is activated then deactivated, there seems to be a lighter color filling the circle:

Tested in Firefox, theme version 1.0.6, with both the light and dark themes.
