We gathered some feedback from two programmers we showed this app to:

Permalink

• CRITICAL: Both didn't notice it, one of them thought it was for sharing on social media. #34

Console

• CRITICAL: Both didn't notice it

Keys

• CRITICAL: PrivateKey.isValid only checks for WIF format (no hex)
• HIGH: One did not notice the code example is dynamic. #38
• HIGH: It was not clear that he could paste a private key on the inputs. #48
• LOW: Did't recognize the "dice button" as "new key"
• ?: He thought that the example was not behaving as expected when pasting a private key and generating a random key

Multisig

• HIGH: He was against the "horizontality" of the interface. Maybe put "Address" on top?

HDKeys

• CRITICAL: He did not understand this screen at all -- I had to show him that he could edit the path (the input box was too gray, he thought it couldn't be modified.

Some ideas: Remove footer, Min-height to the main content, loading icon?

If the version isn't updated the playground becomes less and less useful for learning bitcore.

• Show exceptions on console
• Make font bigger
• Add a visual separation from the footer
• Add a initial message, e.g: var bitcore = require('bitcore');
• Make term icon always visible on the left
• Add link from the code example to the REPL using the same icon
• Support _ notation
• Support shortcuts: ctrl+u, ctrl+e, ctrl+a
• Fix autocomplete x-scroll issue

• HDKeys: Switching networks resets the number of keys and required signatures.
• Switch network -> change section -> network switch is ok but not the code.

That should be a button to copy a permalink URL to the clipboard.

Currently the path validation asumes a HDPrivateKey derivation. A hardened derivation should be invalid while deriving from a user's HDPublicKey.
