Preferences don't show up

I installed 0.4 and the preferences that should be there don't show up:

Tried deleting all my addons and reinstalling and it doesn't work.

App Data Folder

Hello,
So when I go to "File" "Export" "MSFS glTF", I can't access the App Data Folder, which is where I need to go. Any support is appreciated.

Texture Paint bleeds into other parts

Version: 0.4
Blender: 3.1.2

When I load an airplane and try to manually paint on it, the color bleeds into other parts of the airplane even tho I'm not painting that part, this does not happen with version 0.2 of the plugin

Cannot load any models

While trying to load a model I keep getting this issue

I have tried the latest blender version 3.6, and 3.0.1 as well and I have the same issue, also, I do not see the plugin preferences as per the README file on the blender ADD-ONS page

UVs broken on higher lod meshes.

I am applying the original textures from the game to the Cj4 and the UVs for the cabin are completely broken.
If I import lod 2 of the mesh they work fine.

[ISSUE] A320Neo tail messing up on paint

i don't know if it is a setting that you guys haven't disclosed but i try to keep painting my tail on the A320Neo and the paint screws up
is there any way to fix it

Windshield Rain and Ice in Blender

Hello,
i have 2 little Problems in Blender.

  1. When i add a Material type of Windshield and sit the Aircraft looking to the Rain on the Windshield, the Raindrops are moving slowli up, and after a while again slowly down. After a little time it starts from the beginning. But i set the Wind to 0 kt in MSFS and the Raindrops should move from UP o DOWN only.
  2. What means this Wiper option in the Material Settings ?

0.4 wrong image file location on some models

It is particularly visible when trying to import the FA18E and converting the textures. The model is imported but the textures seem to be looked for in a completely wrong location (some subfolders inside the texture folder)

Blender not opening up models anymore? I've been on 2.83 Stable LTS of Blender for over a year now and never had issues opening models now. But I tried to open up a few aircraft models now and I just get Trackback errors now when opening up a model.

Merging multiple objects into one

I imported indiafoxtecho-ussgeraldford using your plugin.
First off loving the plugin.

Second just noticing that the plugin is merging objects together and messing with the UV mapping.
Specifically the Life Raft pods on the side of the carrier (the wire and pods are being joined together) and have different UVs and messing them up. Also Tilly the carrier crane has the same issue.

Also noticed the plugin did capture the four trap wires.

Building upon the official glTF importer instead

It might be better to build upon the official glTF importer if there is a way to support the very special usage of primitive loading with the Asobo extensions for mesh and UV data loading.

In a perfect world this importer extension would then just have to care about loading the meshes with UV maps as well as converting textures to load them into blender and the rest (animations, bones, and so one) would work with the same quality the official importer provides.

If someone has experience with this already I would appreciate any pointers that could help to speed things up if I or someone else decides to convert it to some proper glTF importer extension plugin.

Cannot import the A32NX

Tried importing best LOD of the cockpit of the A32NX from FlyByWire (A320_NEO_INTERIOR_LOD00.gltf) and I get this error:

Tested in Blender 3.1.2, 2.9 and 2.8.

The other LODs and exterior meshes import correctly.

0.4 version error report

I didn't have this problem at all when I was using 0.3, but after I updated to 0.4 the problem started happening on every aircraft
