pcb's Introduction

Pcb is a CAD (computer aided design) program for the physical
design of printed circuit boards.

For installing the release refer to the file 'INSTALL'.
For additional information read the manual (doc/pcb.pdf) 

If you are updating to a new snapshot, you may wish to read
the ChangeLog file.  People using git are expected to look
at the git commit messages, instead.

There is also a bug tracking system available which can
be found from http://pcb.geda-project.org.

[#LP1322000] photo mode should consider nopaste

the photo export mode, at least up to version 20140316, does not give a visual indication of where solder paste will be applied. the information is there (it gets exported in the paste gerbers), but only one mode can be chosen as output (tinned, copper, or other finishings).

a better solution in my opinion would be to have an option for finishing (could stay copper/gold/silver), and an additional option for tin (tinned, hide).

showing the paste mask visually would make it easier to see mistakes in the fiducial setup, and would generally give a more realistic impression of the board.

[LP1930141] Add an XML exporter

A topic branch lives in the "LP1930141" branch in the pcb git repository.
This feature is still in development and not yet complete.
The XML output for polygon contour vertices and hole vertices needs to be fixed/completed.
The XML output for the rotation angle of elements needs to be completed.
