R en Buenos Aires missing?

Hi! I love the map but was wondering why our group R en Buenos Aires was missing and if it's possible to add it. We've got a meetup page and are active active (3 events this year).

Consider adding a widget to display activity from @rstats_meetings either on current RUGs dashboard or upcoming events dashboard.

pluralize "Average Member Per Group", "Average Event Per Group"

Suggest replacing "Average Member Per Group" and "Average Event Per Group" with:
"Average Members Per Group" and "Average Events Per Group"

This is a minor issue.

R-Ladies Leadership & Global team out of date

Hi @benubah how are you pulling the data about who is on the Leadership team and Global team for R-Ladies? I only see references in the docs/rladies.html file but I don't see it getting pulled in from anywhere (do you manually edit the rladies.html file?)

The current team is here, but this is something that changes frequently, so I am not sure if it makes sense to have this as something which is hardcoded and has to be updated frequently. Do you have any ideas on how to make it more dynamic or maybe we just remove this?

Add status to interactive table in R-Ladies Dashboard

If there is any further development planned, it would be great if the chapter status (active, inactive, unbegan) and the date of the last event could be added to the interactive table in the R-Ladies Dashboard.

Chapter activity is something I check regularly. At the moment I query the meetup API. However, if the functionality gets built into the dashboard, that would be very handy.

Missing R groups

Great resource! Many thanks for maintaining it! I think the current community explorer misses some R user groups like this one: https://www.meetup.com/BarcelonaR/.

I'm not sure because it has the r-project-for-statistical-computing topic. The map on the shiny dashboard doesn't show as many meetups as the one shown on the topic.

R-Ladies Rome missing

R-Ladies Rome is missing in the map

Add list of inactive and unbegun groups

Add a list of inactive and unbegun groups with web links so that they could be reached out to via Meetup. Sort this list by a decreasing order of months of inactivity.

Count of R-Ladies is not correct

Hi @benubah!

Just reporting that in the R-Ladies dashboard, the count of cities is incorrect.

Current count is chapters = 188 and cities = 185, however this should be 188.

This is because there are 2 chapters in:

• San Francisco, however one is a remote chapter and should be classified as having worldwide coverage.
• London, there are two cities with the same name (one in UK and one in Canada).
• Oxford, there are two cities with the same name (one in UK and one in USA).

The easiest fix, in my opinion, is to remove the city count as it is redundant (if correct, it should be equal to the number of chapters).
