Asynchronous Article Loading

My goal is to load one post at a time instead of 10 or 20 at once at the beginning, so the user isn't stuck with a loading screen for a unnecessary period of time.

Fetching Wordpress article titles using REST API

Working on parsing a JSON array of WordPress articles so that the article titles can be arranged into an array.

Having trouble converting a Date

I'm fetching a certain formatted Date as a string from a JSON array.
Example: "2019-08-15T16:11:14"
GMT Format: "2019-08-15T20:11:14"

I'm looking for a way to convert this string to something like "Jan 1".
