READ ME! Hello there! Welcome to my Hackintosh place. I do not know how you did find this place, but hi. These are really important files for the laptop Lenovo G580 if you want to install a Hackintosh. You can find drivers and a Clover setup which works on that laptop. Have fun!

What works and what doesn't

Siri: works on Sierra, High Sierra and Catalina, doesn't work on Mojave.

Sleep: works on Sierra, High Sierra, doesn't work on Mojave and Catalina

iMessage, FaceTime and iCloud: if you use GenSMBIOS it works on Sierra, High Sierra, Mojave and Catalina

HD Graphics 3000 works on Sierra, High Sierra, Mojave and Catalina, Nvidia 710M won't work with any macOS.

Boot Chime (with Calliron): Works on Sierra, High Sierra, Mojave and with some trickery, it works on Catalina as well

shutdown doesn't work

Hi
congrats for your work. I have almost fully (99%) laptop hackintosh thanks to your help.
Have you had any problem when you shutdown Catalina (10.15.5)? In my case, My Lenovo g580 just crash, then reboot and when Catalina starts (without problem) I can see the problem.

Changes required for G580 i5 Intel HD 4000

I have successfully booted on my machine, but Graphics and Ethernet does not work.

How do I make the necessary changes, on your working config ?

This version of Mac 10.14 cannot be installed on this Volume

I tried the guide and was successfully able to boot using the provided clover files. I formatted my entire hard drive to APFS and clicked install.

But the disk is greyed out and the title shows upon clicking. I have the i5 and Intel HD 4000 model.
