Finance Cockpit Issue - 2593576

Please note that we had an execution in Cockpit that got stuck Request Processing, in Tulip it shows Running state, below the full execution. No errors were found in Kibana for this execution. I checked the last 4 days of execution and only found this case of Running state, but please check on this to see if we determine the issue, I do note that the Error Codes section does show multiple errors, but not sure if this were error responses received by Tulip or simply place holders for any of those return codes if they are received.

I have checked and it is stuck for some reason that is not clear to me. We have a log/monitoring app and it doesn’t show an error during that timeframe. I have passed along the report to the developer team for review. I’ve checked for other executions in a similar state but in the last week it is the only one, so hopefully not a symptom of a bigger issue.

If I get an explanation of the issue I will share back with you.

Tradall IT VAT Enhancement

Hi Team,

We have a new enhancement request in the automation Tradall IT VAT Warehouse. The current process is being performed for Company Code 3290. We need extend this process for a list of companies. Currently, the single company code is stored as constant in the first bot. The files which get downloaded from SAP must have company code attached to the file name. This company code should be passed as Input Proposal to the bot and this value is received in the bot logic and attached to the file name.

The final file which gets uploaded to the Share Point also has the company code in the file name. This logic should also be changed to get the company code value from Input Proposal and change the file name accordingly.

We need to check how the current logic behaves if there is no data in SAP for given inputs. If the automation fails in that scenario, we need to make changes to the logic to handle such scenarios.

Fix for credit management risk app files naming

We noticed that the support files in the credit risk app do not contain the "." between the file name and the file type when it is received by the application.

For example:

In the above screenshot the name should be "."xlsx.

Could you please assist with this fix? So, the users are able to open the file as per its type.

Issue Feb MEC - MJE Pending Approvals report

After reviewing the MJE Pending report execution for the 8PM run I see that there is an issue starting on that run that the email is not being executed successfully. The image below shows the latest executions, both scheduled and ad-hoc runs but it is filing since 8PM.
As per our conversation, please proceed to use the My Reports option to extract the open/pending MJE reports.

The pending approvals extracton is working as expected, failure happens in the email sending bot.

After some review I believe the issue is that the API call to extract the list returns an empty list (0 pending approvals) and hence the email execution can’t find the data to send. Will review with the team early tomorrow.

Today after a discussion with a user, we checked in Tulip and she had 25 pending tasks to approve, however in her “claimed user tasks” screen, she only had 20 (here it shows 19, because the screenshot was taken later).
And after she approves one of the “new” or top items, some additional tasks appear at the end of the list and the “total items” count was still 20.

This is a bug, because it confuses the user and could drive to errors or leave pending items.
It should show the actual number of items pending, and all the items should appear in here, if necessary, we should include a “pagination” option.

Request to deactivate the existing automation service and create new one, and doing workflow configuration in Credit Block Release Automation with single approval India WF1.

Step 1:

Deactivate the existing automation service and create a new service.

  1. Goto Automation services under development and search for Get Credit Block Orders - India, click on deactivate the service
  2. Create a new service from workflow - Credit Block Release Automation with single approval India WF1 by clicking the '+' icon(The name and description can be copied from the existing deactivated service)
  3. Add 4751 profiles to the new service under development -> Automation services.
  4. Activate the automation service.

Step 2: (This can be done from Beezlabs side)

  1. Add the Date Time bot in workflow - Credit Block Release Automation with single approval India WF1 and Deploy the workflow.
  2. Add datetime input proposals to the bot - Vkm4 ​- Sale order filter bot India.
  3. Remove the Rep group value IN4 in input proposals of workflow - Credit Block Release Automation with single approval India WF1, and also in new automation service proposals (This step was missed during the deployment phase).

Created a posting 105598 in nlmas335, a group user task is created, but no email is received. Task Form setting on Tulip is correct.

Please note that today Work Day +1 users complained of Cockpit being slow to upload files and throwing errors on the files being uploaded and but the same file loaded one more time it would succeed. When checking the system we noticed a spike on errors with the following format.
“The request was rejected because the URL contained a potentially malicious String”

Looking at the past days I see that it has been a recurring theme in at least 3 days back

Issue occurs at the same time each day, which is interesting.

Can you please check if there is any chron job in our system that could potentially be triggering this issue during the specified timeframe.

If I look at server metrics we seem to loose activity at this time too, CPU-Memory usage does down to 0, not sure if because the server is rejecting every action and therefore no load or what can this mean

Changing the Final File Name generated as the output of the Automation - Red Items Report

The current output file generated from Red Items report automation contains the Time Stamp as part of the name.
Example: PTP - PYMT proposals details report template_11-18-22_07-35-26.xlsx

Since, this automation is being run two times a day, the output folder has two files for every day. But the user expectation is to have only one file for each day which has the latest information.

So, the proposed solution is to remove the time stamp from the file name which would look like, PTP - PYMT proposals details report template_11-18-22.xlsx.

By making the change, the new file will automatically replace the old file. So, on any given day, there will only be one file present in the share point location for that day.
