After some digging, i found out that we can do something like CompactRange over the underlying leveldb.
the question which we might want to ask is on which intervals\triggeres should we compact the data..?

The trigger rule we use right now is if size on disk is larger than one database extent and queue is empty. I'm not sure what exactly CompactRange does exactly and if it releases disk space in addition to dat compaction but recreating the database may be a more reliable approach.

I would recommend doing this outside of the goque package.

This can be done by stopping any running instances of goque, and then writing a simple program in Go to open the same queue/stack directory to perform the CompactRange method on.
