You need to call the function () --> Flyout.of(context).close().

Your example corrected:

FlyoutContent(
  child: Column(
    mainAxisSize: MainAxisSize.min,
    crossAxisAlignment: CrossAxisAlignment.start,
    children: [
      const Text(
        'All items will be removed. Do you want to continue?',
        style: TextStyle(fontWeight: FontWeight.bold),
      ),
      const SizedBox(height: 12.0),
      Button(
        child: const Text('Yes, empty my cart'),
        onPressed: () {
          Flyout.of(context).close();
        },
      ),
    ],
  ),
);

When you do that: onPressed: Flyout.of(context).close,, you pass the function, this is the same as onPressed: () => Flyout.of(context).close()
