To know about basic commands and shortcut keys for screen in Ubuntu terminal

To install screen

Use following command to install screen

sudo apt install screen

Commands

Command	Action
screen	To make or enter in screen mode (without any specific name)
screen -ls	List of names of ongoing screens
screen -R name	Start, or re-attach to, a screen with a specific name (“name” here)
screen -r name	Re-attach or resume a screen with a specific name (“name” here)

Shortcut keys

Keys	Action
press Ctrl + a, release them, then press d	Detach from a screen and leave it running
press Ctrl + a, release them, then press [	To scroll in a screen
q	To exit scroll mode of screen
