acextract's Issues

Swift 5

Can update support be unsupported? I tried and failed。。。。

Doesn't work... at all

When I type in acextract -i Assets.car -o AssetsOutput, I get:

xxxx illegal hardware instruction acextract -i Assets.car -o AssetsOutput

where xxxx is some four digit number which changes every time I call it.

May I please know where the issue lies?

Windows version?

I want to extract an Assets.car, but this file seems to be only supported by mac. Is there a Windows version anywhere?

command not found issue.

it is not showing command not found when i execute following command in my terminal.

acextract -i ~/Assets.car -l

Support some system assets CAR files

Thanks for this tool @bartoszj!

Just trying some system asset files that return no result. For example those:

  • /System/Library/CoreServices/SystemAppearance.bundle/Contents/Resources/SystemAppearance.car
  • /System/Library/CoreServices/SystemAppearance.bundle/Contents/Resources/DarkAppearance.car
  • /System/Library/CoreServices/SystemAppearance.bundle/Contents/Resources/DarkAquaAppearance.car

No time now but might give it a debug later.

Building acextract fails

I installed xcpretty and then execute the Makefile using make build but the build fails:
