no hero image on taxonomy pages

Merging theorangepotato 's taxonomy changes seems to allow support for tags and categories, but not custom categories (that will be another issue).

Selecting a tag or category link returns a page with the blog posts marked with the selected tag or category. [Yay!] But the resulting webpage does not display a hero image.
