As I understand it, you can give a title alias to a file, without actually changing its name. You do it manually, not as a configurable feature, but I am writing you on a whim as I thought that perhaps you would know how to do it.

I am trying to use vscode as a zettelkasten and that means I write a lot of linked notes in markdown. That means the title of a note can change along time so if I use it as namefile the links will break. Thats why I prefer to use a neutral name, like the time of creation (202208261745 would be this message). But that is a pain to read the files in vscode, as you cannot know what is it about.

How is it resolved in other software: they use a title alias, like yours, but it selects the name authomatically, from a yaml frontmatter or from the first heading. Would you like to try and do something like that?
