I'm not sure what happened, but when I initially installed the prop face unlock worked fine. For some reason it switched to using my back camera. Help pls

I tried to install the module and after i install it i see that security update changes once i install it and ctsProfile fails. Did i do something wrong ?

I flashed everything but it's like nothing changed for my phone (mi mix 3 on pe) any solutions?

i flashed the latest prop (P4XLProps-November) but my phone didn't boot.
when i flashed P4XLProps-August (that is the latest prop on android 10) my phone did not pass safetynet check

my phone: j6lte (SM-J600FN)

After installing this module, in around every 5 minutes device gets incredible laggy, then fixes around a minute or so.

After installing released props my camera app can't detect /switch to aux lenses (i have macro and ultra wide lens). Is there any way to enable it while still using the props? I assume system.prop tied with aux lens detection, what should i change? My device is Redmi Note 8, running ArrowOS Android 11.

• After flashing this pixel prop ( june release) via magisk.
  Green tint appears in view finder and in pictures also.
  Usually tint appears in low light .

Steps to reproduce

-flash this zip
-install Ng resource apk

• reboot.
• open gcam.

Expected Result

There should be no tint of any kind in any camera app, in this case Gcam.

I installed this module on my OnePlus 6 running oxygen OS11 beta 1. After that google photos app is not backing up photos. There is a constant error message saying "Device too hot" even when the device is not even warm. I have tried updating the photos app, clearing it's data, force stopping it....Nothing worked.

Hi, I'm using Poco F1 with Awaken OS 1.3 and I can't seem to enable Assistant 2.0. I tried all steps outlined in the main page and also from the previous user who reported the issue a while ago (now closed) and still doesn't work.

Also Chrome for some reason is oversaturated. Please help. Thanks

Whenever I try to switch to video mode on Google camera it freezes and then the whole app crashes. If I try to open any other app which uses Camera ( snapchat) it too shows a blank screen a restart is required to solve this issue.

This issue occurs only when recording 60fps videos

Every time I install this on the oneplus 8 pro. It has a dim screen and doesn't get bright

The module doesn't seem to work in Poco F1 running Pixel Experience 10.

Tested both modules on non-custom ROM, August patch, and camera fc.
After deactivating the module, camera works fine again.

Any idea to make it work with stock?

device is stuck at boot animation but it gets recognized on adb and when going on adb shell the device is identified as redfin
The gsi is stock aosp with minimal features

Smart compose is not showing up in google messages, google assistant is not opening, and more.

After flashing module and rebooting, phone seems to be in post-ota-update state, i'm unlocking sim card, entering pattern. And after couple of seconds, phone just reboots (not crashing (i can clearly see "turning off..." pop up), just reboots straight into recovery), removing module from /data/adb allows to end "Finishing system update" and phone works normally.

Hey love your module but unfortunately it breaks the camera, would be awesome if you made a optional version that doesn't give the camera features. That way would help anyone with camera problems. Cheers.

I tried it on pixel reloaded caf which is almost same as pixel experience in ui and features wise, but after flashing December hal3 zip, some features are working but google ar services is still not showing on playstore

No ui popup in google assistant, December 2020, all apps updated, nga Installed, but no glowing popup, but assistant still listens to my commands

No assistant UI, no matter the rom. I'm using pixel experience, and the assistant UI isn't showing up on it too. I used havoc, corvus, posp, aospk, derp, awaken, Octavi and a lot others, from my past issue post. Also tried the xda post you linked.
There is no folder in /data/data as mentioned in that tutorial, also creating one manuall doesn't work. Please provide a solution for this.

Guide as to use new google assistant

Device: Google Pixel 3
ROM: stock ROM, Dec update, android 11

After flash this module, play store ask me to update several apps including device health services, which turn immediately stopped after update. I'm guessing this is the reason why Google camera can't access the right angle camera in the front of pixel 3.

When using pixel experience 11 plus rom and installing this magisk module, all google camera ports close instantly when opened.

I am on Redmi K20 Pro. Every time i reboot is popa the camera out.

The rom developer said screen attention being enabled by the module.

Cannot open Google camera.

As soon as it finishes loading it crashes with "Camera keeps stopping."

I have a pixel 2 which got it's last and final update on Dec, 2020. Security patch still shows Oct, 2020 for some reason. So say I install Oct release from this repo, will it enable all features or only the features that came till Oct?

I wanted to know which specific build prop tweaks used in this module enable Hold For Me and Call Screening, do I have spoof my phone's fingerprint to get these features? If possible, I wouldn't want to spoof my phone's fingerprint, I currently use the xmlpak module as my fingerprint modifier. Installing this module causes bootloops for me.

For reference I'm on an Essential PH1 on Android 10, using the stock ROM/AOSP

Recently, I got a Pixel 2XL, rooted it, and wanted the new Google Assistant 2.0 UI and continued conversation. Found the XDA thread for it, and then found P4XLprops, flashed if, and I have 2 Errors...

1- Whenever I open Camera, It starts lagging like hell. Then it crashes after what, 5 seconds?

2- Google Assistant CC (Continued Conversation) Switch isn't available, but the UI shows immediately.

Unsupported CustomROM :

Issue : features not enabling.
Solution : Use Custom ROM (not GSI) which are AOSP based with pixel's system UI (preferably gapps build).

No UI for Google Assistant 2.0 :

Issue : Customised Pixel launcher and navbars shipped with custom ROMs such as shady launcher variants of pixel launcher with app lock, icon packs, double tap to sleep and replaced navbar to provide 2 button gesture and customisation of the pill.Modified pixel launcher removes the UI completely while modified navbar removed the glow as these only worked with stock files.
Solution : Use the Pixel Launcher port from Pixel 5 if not provided with ROM.
After flashing one can update the pixel launcher to latest version from here - https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/pixel-launcher/pixel-launcher-11-release/
From June another variant of module will be added for convenience.

Face Enrolment :

Issue: Enrollment not working because of errors with camera ( front camera not working during enrollment or switching to back camera )
Solution : Enroll your face for face unlock before flashing the module.

Playstore system Update :

Issue : Unable to install playstore system update.
Solution : Disable the module then reboot and then install the playstore system update after which re- enable the module from magisk folowed by a reboot.

Safetynet:

Issue : Safetynet fails.
Solution :
Make sure to install correct release otherwise it will lead to CTS Failure in safetynet
Besides that, the following steps are to be taken in general when using magisk to pass safetynet:

• Turn on magisk hide and hide for Google PlayServices, Playstore, Google Service Framework and Carrier Services. Besides also hide magisk manager to pass safetynet.

• If safetynet fails with hardware attestation use Kdrag0n's Safetynet Fix which makes safetynet check to fall back to basic attestation.

If using edxposed also follow the below steps to ensure that the safetynet passes:

• Use the latest Edxposed build with AppList mode enabled and blacklist Google PlayServices, Playstore, Google Service Framework and Carrier Services .
• Turn on riru hide mechanism by creating empty file enable_hide inside /data/adb/riru and reboot. Use riru apk to cross-check if hide is enabled.

Aux Lenses:

Issue : Can't detect /switch to aux lenses.
Solution :
If you are using gcam port try loading appropriate config file for the gcam you are using. For instance, below is the link to configs for wyroczen's google camera port for Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro .

If you're using miui cam port or any other which checks for device fingerprint you have to spoof the device fingerprint for it using edXposed module (https://github.com/ikws4/WeiJu) to make it work (you may check video here (#10 (comment)) and can get these variable values from your stock build.prop file.

HAL 3 :

Issue : Playstore not listing AR services.
Solution : clear playstore data

It says it is downloading the resources when I first start Google Assistant, but I only got the compact assistant.

I've installed May Pixel Features on a Xiaomi Mi 9T. After installing Magisk module I did a reboot to let the module start. During boot animation camera pop-ups and keeps that way. I had to use ROM's camera calibration option under Settings to make it hide again.

I'm using now Pixelish ROM, latest May update. It also happened using Picsel Inexperience and Pixel Experience.

I've installed ambient services also as system app; now, in audio section appears "now playng" but when i click it, ambient services crash and doesn't allow me to use now playing feature

Locgat file says " /product/etc/ambient/matcher_tah.leveldb core shard not found."
So i extracted from another rom this file and placed in correct folder, now when i click on now playing there is no more crash but i can't still use now playing feature.

Also another error appears in logcat : "Can't load /system/etc/firmware/music_detector . sound_model"

However I have another issue with Google assistant. I have the new ui however it doesn't have the Google color bar at the bottom and it doesn't work properly. Have attached screenshots below for a better understanding.
