what class method handles the Differential backUp portion ?

The class methods don't have comments hence difficult for one to easily make modifications.

What exactly does the method syncTables() do ?

Am I right to say the method rotateFiles() is responsible for dong the DIFFERENCIAL magic

Both README.md and the article at https://www.axllent.org/code/phpmybackup/ have the wrong variable names in the usage section:

$db->ignoreList = array('test','unimportant_db');
$db->emptyList = array('largedb.large_table1','largedb.cachetable');

should be:

$db->ignoreDatabases = array('test','unimportant_db');
$db->ignoreTables = array('largedb.large_table1','largedb.cachetable');

...to conform with lines 32 and 38 of the script. Otherwise, they'll be simply not checked and all the data will be backed up, including the databases and tables that were supposed to be ignored.

How do i my backfile upload another server with ftp ?

The mysql_* functions are now obsolete and should be replaced with either PDO or mysqli_*.

How I can do for only backup 1 database without adding new databases to ignoreDatabases array everytime I create a new database?.
